Ursa Major was established to revitalize the U.S. industrial base by introducing a fresh approach to defense and aerospace systems. We design and manufacture cutting-edge propulsion technology for hypersonic applications, missile systems, and space exploration. We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team on a contractor basis. This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be on-site at least three days a week. You will serve as a key member of our talent team, managing strategic sourcing, driving engagement with hiring managers, and helping us scale our workforce with high-quality, diverse talent.
Responsibilities
- Lead kickoff meetings with hiring managers to define requisition needs, discuss headcount, and provide market insights to guide the interview process.
- Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines for both immediate and future organizational requirements.
- Actively engage and source top-tier candidates through innovative networking, referrals, and emerging recruiting technologies to represent our brand mission.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience recruiting for highly technical roles, or five years of general professional recruiting experience.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- A demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment and valuing diversity in all its forms.
- Strong preference for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree, previous experience in the aerospace industry, and proficiency with tools like Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Please note that U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, refugee, or asylum status is required for this position.
