Are you passionate about education and ready to help build a model urban school district that serves all students with excellence? Since 2001, Mastery Schools has grown into a network of 23 K-12 schools across Philadelphia and Camden, supporting over 14,000 students. We are deeply committed to equity, disrupting systemic racism, and ensuring every student has the tools to pursue their dreams. Our culture thrives on respect, service, and a belief that our collective work makes a lasting impact. We invite you to join our dedicated team and help us shape the future of our schools.
What you bring
As a Mid-Level Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a vital role in our mission by identifying and securing the most effective, mission-aligned teachers and support staff. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United States. You will serve as a trusted advisor to school leaders, ensuring our campuses are staffed with high-caliber talent. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full candidate pipeline, from initial application screening and status updates to final offer processing.
- Conducting competency-aligned, efficient first-round interviews to identify top-tier candidates.
- Partnering directly with school principals and hiring managers to track staffing needs and develop effective recruitment and retention strategies.
Requirements
We are looking for a proactive problem solver who excels at managing complex projects with urgency and consistency. You should possess strong communication and customer service skills, as you will be the face of our organization to prospective applicants. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus. We value candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree is required, along with either 1-2 years of recruitment experience or 5-7 years of relevant professional experience. Teaching experience or a background in non-profit and urban education is highly preferred. You must have access to reliable transportation, as this role requires weekly travel to our campuses and local career fairs.
What we offer
We are proud to support our employees with a comprehensive benefits package designed to foster both personal well-being and professional growth. We believe in investing in our people so they can continue to deliver excellence to our students. Our benefits include:
- An Employee assistance program to support your mental health and well-being.
- Access to an annual Professional development fund to help you grow in your career.
How to Apply
If you are excited about the prospect of joining our team and contributing to our mission, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse backgrounds and believe the best candidate may come from a non-traditional path. Please think broadly about your experience and how your unique skills align with our goals. We look forward to reviewing your application and learning more about how you can help us achieve our vision.
