Wakam is a European leader in digital and embedded insurance, operating as a mission-driven company that provides white-label solutions to over 150 distribution partners. We are currently seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Expert to join our team on a full-time basis in France, helping us scale our international operations through our innovative Play&Plug technology platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including needs analysis, sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Act as a strategic business partner to our hiring leaders, providing expert advice on job descriptions, candidate personas, and innovative sourcing methods.
- Develop and execute diverse sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier talent.
- Build and maintain talent pools for recurring roles and hard-to-fill positions.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from the initial outreach to the final hiring stage.
- Collaborate with internal squads to refine recruitment processes, such as implementing structured interviews and improving scorecards.
- Contribute to our employer branding initiatives by creating content and developing partnerships.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in recruitment, ideally within a start-up, scale-up, or recruitment agency environment.
- Proficiency in modern sourcing techniques and direct approach methods.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- A proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo while maintaining a collaborative spirit.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience or knowledge of the insurance sector.
- Familiarity with the French and UK recruitment markets.
