What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a hybrid position based in Hollywood, California, where you will report directly to the Manager of Network and Cloud Engineering. You will play a vital role in the planning, deployment, security, and ongoing monitoring of our organization’s network infrastructure, serving as a primary resource for our hardware and cloud environments.

What will you do?

• Take charge of our voice and data network devices to guarantee high levels of security, reliability, and consistent performance across the organization.
• Collaborate with our security operations team to monitor server logs, firewall activity, and intrusion detection systems while conducting regular vulnerability scans.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for our on-premises and cloud-based systems, including disaster recovery plans and detailed network data flow diagrams.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have at least four years of experience working as a network engineer within a complex, wide-area network environment. We are looking for someone who holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or has equivalent practical experience. You should be highly proficient with Microsoft Server platforms, including Active Directory and Group Policies, as well as VMWare. A deep understanding of Azure, M365, and Okta is essential, along with technical expertise in routing, switching, and firewall management. Because you will be working in a collaborative environment, strong communication and problem-solving skills are just as important as your technical background.
