We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity within the United States. At Exxact Corporation, we specialize in building high-performance computing solutions, ranging from individual workstations to complex, multi-rack storage and GPU clusters. You will play a vital role in our engineering process, ensuring that our hardware and software systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and assemble advanced systems and clusters from the component level, which includes managing network fabric, power infrastructure, and cabling.
- Perform rigorous quality control inspections on all finished goods before they are shipped to customers.
- Provide expert technical support for both hardware and software issues via phone and email while maintaining our internal equipment and domain controllers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience working with the hardware and software technologies relevant to our systems, with 5 or more years being highly preferred.
- Expertise in designing and integrating enterprise-level server hardware.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux, specifically regarding clustering, as well as current Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking at both the physical and configuration levels, including experience with 10GB, gbE, and InfiniBand.
- Bonus points if you possess knowledge of GPGPU computing.
