The role
We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role where you will work closely with our technology teams to develop and maintain the robust infrastructure that supports our production pipeline. You will play a vital part in making key technical decisions and providing essential support across our organization.
Core responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing administration of our technical infrastructure to ensure high operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure, redundant systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
- Drive continuous improvement by automating repetitive tasks and leading the implementation of new systems to keep projects on track and within budget.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a collaborative spirit. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar systems administration role.
- Proficiency in configuration management and automated deployment tools like Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Solid experience administering Microsoft Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Hands-on knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong scripting skills, specifically with BASH or PowerShell.
- Experience with OS imaging and software deployment for Windows and Linux systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to deliver projects on time.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is CAD $60,000 to CAD $71,000 per year. In addition to competitive pay, we support our team through a hybrid work model designed to provide flexibility and balance.
