What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join us on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning, managing, and supporting our cloud computing environments. Your expertise in AWS, Linux, Windows, Docker, and Kubernetes will be vital as you help us maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing the secure, scalable hosting of customer-facing applications within our AWS environment.
• Monitoring core infrastructure services and providing support on a rotation basis.
• Operating and maintaining EC2 instances, production ECS clusters, and various other AWS services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related management information systems field. We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management, including proficiency with EC2, VPC, and database operations. You should possess strong technical skills in network administration, cybersecurity, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Beyond your technical hard skills, you should be a highly organized professional with the ability to multitask and communicate complex issues clearly to technical teams. While not required, holding certifications such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator would be a significant advantage.
