What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis within the United States. This role is essential for supporting our senior administrators in the deployment and maintenance of Linux and Windows operating systems. You will work across both traditional and virtualized environments, ensuring our hardware solutions remain secure and operational. Please note that this position requires an active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with senior administrators, security officers, and researchers to provide comprehensive system support, maintenance, and project assistance.
• Manage and configure critical infrastructure, including NAS storage, networking components, firewalls, and directory services like MS Active Directory.
• Enhance system performance and efficiency by performing regular monitoring, analysis, and process automation using PowerShell scripting.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Linux administration, specifically with Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu, as well as extensive experience with Windows OS administration. You must be comfortable working with networking, storage, and security protocols. Because we operate in a defense-focused environment, you must hold an active Secret clearance. We value candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining standard operating procedures while staying current with DoD security guidelines. Proficiency in English is required for all documentation and communication.
