We are currently seeking a dedicated expert to join our team and help us optimize our hybrid environment.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the United States, where you will play a vital role in managing our global infrastructure. We are a Microsoft-centric organization, and we need a seasoned professional who can help us maximize the performance of our on-premise systems while effectively integrating cloud technologies.
Core responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of infrastructure systems across our global datacenters.
- Ensure the security and integrity of our production and development environments while maintaining robust data backup and archive processes.
- Manage disaster recovery planning and testing, while participating in an on-call rotation to provide necessary production support.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructures. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Deep technical knowledge of VMware virtualization, including ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and VDI.
- Extensive experience with MS Windows Server (2016-2025) and enterprise-level Active Directory.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and managing Office 365 services like Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with storage technologies and hardware platforms from vendors such as HP, Dell, or Cisco.
- The ability to document clear work instructions and perform thorough peer reviews.
- Possession of at least one professional certification is highly desirable.
Compensation and benefits
For candidates based in our Oakland, California office, the base wage range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000. Beyond your base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and the flexibility of a hybrid work model, which allows you to balance time in the office with remote work options.
