• Create and maintain an on-premises cloud, software-defined data center infrastructure for both bare-metal and virtual machines with the appropriate SAN, network, or local storage configurations, using both OEM and third-party tools that include virtual storage tools and services. 
• Automate and provision/configure all required resources for servers. 
• Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 environment. 
• Support the operations and maintenance of the VMware virtual infrastructure, including, but not limited to, vCenter and the full vRealize Suite. 
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks, such as automated provisioning storage with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
• 5+ yrs IT industry expertise with enterprise in infrastructure solution development (physical computer, networking, storage, or Software-Defined Data Center concepts). 
• VMware Certified Professional (VM Certified)
• 5+ Years of strong experience with Windows/Linux VM hosted on VMware ESXi. 
• 5+ Years of experience with Windows Administration (Active Directory, domain replication, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, MECM/SCCM, Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 and 2022) 
• Understanding of storage (SAN\NAS) connectivity from VSphere, mounting LUNs 
• Knowledge of Hardware (Server Cisco, Dell), Azure Stack HCI, VSAN, Kubernetes, Storage Arrays. 
• Some scripting and automation techniques (PowerShell, Chef, Ansible, Terraform) 
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016-2022 
• Solid background in vendor management to drive incident resolution. 
• Experience with monitoring tools and strategies.
