Systems Administrator, Infrastructure at Argo Group

We are currently looking for a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our infrastructure team and help us drive technical excellence.

Key outcomes

• Design, implement, and maintain our on-premises software-defined data center infrastructure, including virtual machines and necessary storage or network configurations.
• Automate and manage the provisioning and configuration of server resources to ensure high efficiency.
• Provide expert administration for our Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 environments.
• Oversee the operations and maintenance of our VMware virtual infrastructure, including vCenter and the vRealize Suite.
• Develop and maintain custom scripts to streamline system tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall infrastructure performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically focused on enterprise infrastructure solution development.
• Current VMware Certified Professional certification.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux virtual machines hosted on VMware ESXi.
• Extensive background in Windows Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and MECM/SCCM.
• Practical knowledge of storage connectivity, including SAN and NAS, as well as hardware from Cisco and Dell.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Strong vendor management skills to facilitate effective incident resolution.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with Azure Stack HCI, VSAN, and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with advanced monitoring tools and strategic infrastructure management.
