The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior System Administrator to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will be the backbone of our IT infrastructure, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems that keep our operations running smoothly. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology is secure, reliable, and performing at its peak. This is a vital position for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to contribute to a company that is actively shaping the future of industrial automation.
A day in the life
- You will manage the installation, administration, and troubleshooting of various operating systems while ensuring our critical services remain reliable and available.
- You will take charge of system maintenance tasks, including backups, file management, and the testing of software upgrades to keep our environment current.
- You will oversee user accounts, permissions, and security policies, while also providing mentorship to junior team members to help them grow their technical expertise.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with 4 to 7 years of experience in system, network, or database administration. You have a deep understanding of Windows, macOS, or Linux environments, and you are comfortable working with virtualization platforms like VMWare. You have a strong grasp of configuration management tools such as Active Directory, and you are someone who values documentation and clear communication in English. If you have experience with scripting or automation, or hold certifications in Linux or Microsoft technologies, you will fit right in. Because we value collaboration, you must be comfortable coming into the office as needed to support our team.
