The opportunity

We are searching for a System Administrator to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is essential for the daily operations and maintenance of our onsite systems hardware and software. You will be the go-to person for resolving technical support tickets and ensuring our infrastructure remains robust and efficient. Please note that this position requires you to work on-site at our data center in Tampa, Florida.

A day in the life

• You will manage the daily configuration and operation of systems within our Tampa data center, ensuring optimal uptime and performance.
• You will provide hands-on technical support to our employees by resolving support calls and managing user accounts, permissions, and groups through Active Directory.
• You will assist with the installation, maintenance, and patching of Windows operating systems while collaborating with vendors to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Who you are

You are a self-motivated professional with at least one year of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server roles, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. You communicate clearly in English and possess the technical foundation to succeed in a hybrid environment. Your background should include:

• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, specifically AWS EC2 or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with managing enterprise firewalls like Cisco and Fortigate, alongside a solid understanding of network protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL servers, PowerShell scripting, virtualization technologies, and reliable backup solutions.
• A strong analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to security best practices.
