We are transforming the packaging industry by building a digital, eco-friendly B2B procurement platform. Our team is currently launching a new SaaS product designed to help our customers optimize their procurement processes while significantly lowering their environmental impact. We are a group of dedicated builders led by founders with a track record of creating billion-dollar companies. Having recently secured 15 million in Series A funding from top-tier investors like EQT and HV Capital, we are now looking for a Sustainability Lead to join our team in Germany. Key outcomes
- Lead the productization of sustainability insights for our internal spin-off, packa.
- Collaborate directly with our product founder and the managing director.
- Conduct in-depth research on packaging sustainability, including recyclability and product carbon footprint calculations.
- Create and implement a world-class research practice, including the development of streamlined internal processes.
- Structure complex information with high attention to detail to ensure our data remains actionable.
- Engage with key stakeholders in the packaging industry to understand and address their sustainability needs.
- Scale our research function and transition from an operational focus into managerial responsibilities as the company grows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a research-heavy environment, such as a role in top-tier consulting or an academic background like a PhD.
- An execution-oriented mindset with a strong drive to deliver exceptional results.
- A detail-oriented work ethic combined with the ability to maintain a clear view of the big picture.
- Fluency in both German and English.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous professional experience working with packaging sustainability or product carbon footprint calculations.
