Role at a glance
We are seeking a Mid-Level Support Engineer to join our Engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role, and you will be expected to work from our East Austin office three days a week. You will serve as the bridge between our engineering and field operations teams, ensuring our technology runs smoothly across the country.
Your impact
- Investigate and resolve technical issues reported from the field, focusing on proactive detection and identifying root causes.
- Analyze telemetry and network data to spot trends, potential failure points, and opportunities for system improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Field Operations as the primary technical liaison to manage incident responses and keep communication flowing.
What you'll need
- Two to four years of experience in technical support, operations engineering, or field engineering, preferably in a high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for troubleshooting complex systems and following technical breadcrumbs.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience using diagnostic tools or reading logs to interpret data.
- A self-directed mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, Slack-heavy environment.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to balance high-noise issues with high-impact priorities.
- Fluency in English.
