What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Support Engineer Technical Lead to join our Information Technology department on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be responsible for engineering, deploying, and maintaining the systems and applications used by our staff in an active trading environment. You will play a vital role in mentoring our technology professionals while ensuring our infrastructure remains highly available and cutting-edge.

• Take a lead role in designing and delivering desktop solutions while managing the full life cycle of applications, desktops, and scripts.
• Collaborate closely with end-users to support their technology needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Key technical requirements include:

• At least 6 years of experience supporting end-user systems in an enterprise environment, with 2 years specifically focused on engineering and implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for system management, as well as experience with VoIP and SIP video conferencing technologies.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Scripting or programming experience, particularly with Python.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Please note that this role requires the physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs, as well as the flexibility to handle night or weekend on-call duties and occasional travel.
