About the Role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this senior role, you will be responsible for translating our purchasing needs into a steady supply of materials, which is essential for manufacturing our direct air capture systems. You will work from our production facility in Berkeley, California, where you will have the chance to build systems from the ground up as we scale our operations and expand into new international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of our supply chain, including strategic sourcing, logistics, purchasing, and supplier development.
- Lead our procurement strategy by selecting key partners, managing relationships, and implementing cost-effective methods for capital equipment manufacturing.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation plans to address potential challenges such as supply assurance, tariff issues, and cost fluctuations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience managing supply chains within a manufacturing technology environment.
- A strong understanding of international and local customs regulations, commodity markets, and global sourcing strategies.
- A master’s degree in supply chain management is preferred.
- Please note that this role involves physical activity, including the ability to lift 40 lbs or more, climb stairs or ladders, and operate machinery.
Location
This position is based on-site at our development and production facility in Berkeley, California.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $150,000.
