We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team in the United States to help us continue this legacy of excellence.
Key outcomes
- Execute structural analysis and design for new tank structures, as well as rehabilitation and retrofit projects within the water and wastewater sectors, using SAP2000 and SAFE.
- Analyze project specifications, building codes, and plans to ensure all submittals are accurate, safe, and cost-effective through rigorous design and quality control processes.
- Identify and recommend design improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with construction teams, suppliers, and consultant engineers to address technical inquiries and resolve engineering challenges.
- Deliver reliable technical support to field personnel and conduct periodic design compliance inspections at project sites.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a minor or specific emphasis in structural engineering.
- Current Engineering in Training (EIT) certification.
- Between 3 and 7 years of professional experience in Civil or Structural Engineering, ideally within the water or wastewater industry.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and the MS Office suite.
- A self-motivated and driven approach, with the ability to balance independent work with team collaboration.
- A willingness to travel occasionally for project site inspections.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Prior experience providing engineering support for construction projects.
