Strategy Associate at S-Quantum Engine

The S-Quantum Engine is Sinarmas Financial Services' Digital Factory - focused on transforming one of Indonesia's largest financial services groups to match the increasingly digital demands of today's financial services sector.

Who you will be working with

The Strategy Associate will be reporting to our Head of Strategy within the SMMA Strategy and Digital Office.

The Strategy and Digital Office is responsible for the corporate strategy, digital product development, and digital transformation of the Sinarmas Financial Services group of companies – from banking, insurance, securities, leasing, and even cryptocurrencies.

Specifically, the division shall:

• Develop a long-term strategy for business units

• Identify digital product opportunities and coordinate resources for discovery, design, development, and launch

• Identify and drive cross Business Unit product & business synergy

• Lead execution of organic & inorganic growth initiatives

What you will be doing

The Strategy Associate will contribute to the crafting, calculation, and communications of the Group’s and Business Units’ strategy – from inorganic growth, digital products, or even go-to-market motions. You are expected to:

• Lead strategic initiatives, drive digital transformation efforts, and engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives. -Make strategic decisions impacting organizational goals and performance.

• Lead analysis efforts to evaluate strategic opportunities and risks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

• Drive the development of strategic plans and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

• Present strategy recommendations to executive leadership and board members.

• Collaborate with Business Unit senior management to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities.

What you need to have

• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, business product management, and deal advisory. This position is open for levels ranging from associate to manager.

• A degree in business or STEM, preferred

• Excellent data analytics/ spreadsheet calculation/ financial modeling and presentation skills

• Proven ability to address complex problems with strategic implications, applying critical thinking and creativity

• Depth of understanding in industry knowledge and domain expertise that is relevant

• Leadership qualities demonstrated through mentoring junior team members and guiding project execution

• Strong time management and the ability to stick to tight deadlines

• Self-awareness and ability to assess personal performance

• Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives

• Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate diverse perspectives
