We are looking for a senior Storage Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will help Point72 reimagine the future of investing by maintaining the robust IT infrastructure that keeps us at the cutting edge of the financial industry.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and oversee our block storage solutions.
Maintain the reliability, security, and performance of our storage infrastructure.
Resolve technical issues and provide L3 support, including on-call coverage.
Use automation tools to streamline storage provisioning and routine maintenance.
Perform capacity planning and regular performance testing.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate storage systems into our broader environment.
Stay current with emerging trends in block, file, and object storage.

Must-haves

Extensive experience with block storage technologies, specifically Dell PowerMax, SRDF/Metro, Purestorage, and Cisco MDS switches.
Strong proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, and shell scripting.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working with file storage systems like Isilon and NetApp.
Knowledge of object storage technologies such as Dell ECS.
