About the Role
We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer for a full-time position based in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will take ownership of the development lifecycle from the initial idea phase through to deployment. You will work closely with our product team to build new capabilities while providing architectural guidance and mentorship to the engineers around you.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and uphold architectural and coding standards to ensure we can develop sustainable software at a fast pace.
- Mentor and support fellow team members to foster their professional growth and elevate the overall technical expertise of the group.
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality, reliable code using Go while collaborating with product and design teams to turn concepts into secure, functional applications.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 3 years working specifically with Go.
- Proven track record of working with cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong background in designing and building complex backend platforms and infrastructure.
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as developing containerized backend applications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical and security concepts clearly.
- A strong understanding of application security, DevSecOps, or container security is highly preferred.
- Experience in an early-stage environment or contributions to open-source projects like Hashicorp tools is considered a significant advantage.
Location
This position is based in Israel and requires an on-site presence.
