We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team in Tel Aviv. Our company is building a Software Supply Chain Security as a Service platform, and we need a talented individual to lead the development of robust security solutions for our global customers. You will have the opportunity to own projects from the initial concept through to deployment, while collaborating with our product team and providing technical mentorship to your colleagues. Key outcomes
- Establish architectural and coding standards to ensure our team can deliver sustainable software at a rapid pace.
- Mentor other developers to foster their professional growth and improve the overall technical capabilities of the team.
- Design and maintain efficient, reliable, and reusable code using Go.
- Partner with design and product teams to translate user stories into functional, secure applications.
- Optimize the performance and responsiveness of our systems with a constant focus on security.
- Proactively identify and resolve software vulnerabilities and technical bugs.
- Lead the delivery of critical, security-focused projects by developing comprehensive project plans and test strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of current trends in programming, web applications, and security.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years of professional experience working with Go.
- Proven success building cloud-native applications on platforms like AWS.
- Practical experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in designing and building complex backend infrastructure and containerized applications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and security concepts clearly to others.
- An on-site work arrangement in Israel.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in an early-stage company environment where you have successfully bootstrapped new technologies.
- A strong background in DevSecOps, application security, or container security.
- Familiarity with Hashicorp tools or a history of contributing to open-source infrastructure projects.
