The role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Supply Chain Management Systems team. This is a full-time, executive-level position based on-site in Seattle, WA. You will play a pivotal role in our mission by designing and building advanced systems that optimize our supply chain and inventory processes. Core responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain robust demand forecasting and supply chain systems that support our large-scale operations.
- Lead the implementation of high-availability, full-stack production systems while ensuring resilience and scalability.
- Collaborate across teams with data scientists, demand planners, and business leaders to improve our product buying and management processes.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for predictive analytics. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of professional experience building software systems using Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in Machine Learning, specifically applied to forecasting or predictive modeling.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience working with AWS and building complex distributed systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $180,000 to $200,000 USD. In addition to base pay, we offer a competitive package designed to support your long-term success and well-being:
