What is this role?

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will be instrumental in designing and shipping innovative features that redefine how people interact with the web, specifically focusing on our new project, Dia.

What will you do?

• Lead, architect, and execute features powered by LLMs across our product suite.
• Collaborate with our Design, Membership, Data, and Leadership teams to prototype and launch AI-driven experiences.
• Champion a product-minded approach, ensuring every technical decision is grounded in user impact and long-term value.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a highly skilled engineer with 6 or more years of experience in shipping user-facing products. You have a strong background in Swift or Objective-C for iOS and macOS. We are looking for someone who is excited to prototype with LLMs and is comfortable working within the Chromium ecosystem. Because we are a distributed team, you should be comfortable working in English and able to maintain at least 4 hours of overlap with the Eastern Time Zone. Most importantly, you are a pragmatic problem solver who thrives in a startup environment and is eager to build intuitive, polished software.
