We are currently developing an AI assistant that utilizes cutting-edge LLM techniques to help brokers automate their daily tasks, ultimately making their workflows more efficient and intelligent. We are searching for a lead-level Staff Software Engineer who is eager to influence our product strategy and drive meaningful business results while working in a fully remote environment.
Key outcomes
- Take full ownership of feature delivery across our TypeScript, React, and Node stack.
- Collaborate closely with our design, product, and data teams to identify user needs and implement incremental, high-value solutions.
- Develop innovative AI-driven agentic tools that help our insurance experts navigate complex data and improve their decision-making processes.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous learning within our remote-first engineering team.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, from initial specification and development to testing and user validation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience working with TypeScript, React, and Node, along with a proven history of deploying production-grade software.
- A demonstrated ability to shape product and business strategy through technical leadership.
- A strong interest in or practical experience with applied AI and LLM technologies.
- A generalist mindset with the flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and learn new technologies as needed.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
- A willingness to travel occasionally for team offsites or visits to our hub in Austin, Texas.
