We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team and help us deliver a premier experience that allows clients to visualize their entire financial picture, work effectively with advisors, and access sophisticated financial tools. You will operate within a collaborative, cross-functional environment alongside product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to develop high-quality, scalable software solutions. Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven track record of building APIs, backend systems, and frontend architectures.
• Deep technical proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• A solid grasp of software engineering principles and computer science fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, particularly when dealing with ambiguous or changing requirements.
• A proactive, startup-oriented mindset with a high degree of personal ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an agile team.
• The ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
• The ability to align your working hours with United States time zones.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience within the FinTech sector or a startup environment.
• Strong proficiency with modern web application technologies.
• Experience building integrations with external data sources or developing high-quality data visualizations.
• Familiarity with our core tech stack, including Node.js, React, Next.js, Postgres, and AWS services.
• Experience managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• A strong understanding of security best practices.
• Experience integrating or optimizing AI and machine learning solutions.
• Background in mobile development.
