We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team in the United States on a full-time, on-site basis to help us build the next generation of decoupled query engines and structured storage systems.

• Manage distributed query execution, scheduling, and vectorized execution engines.

Requirements

• A deep-seated passion for database systems, distributed architectures, storage technology, or performance optimization.
• Proven ability to execute a multi-year technical vision through consistent, incremental deliverables.
• A strong focus on delivering tangible value and impact to our customers.
• Professional proficiency in the English language.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering.

Preferred qualifications

• A PhD in databases or distributed systems is highly desirable.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $182,400 to $247,000 USD. Actual offers are determined by a variety of factors, including your specific depth of experience, unique skills, and relevant training. Beyond the base salary, you may be eligible for an annual performance bonus and equity grants.
