What you bring
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Executive level engineering team. This is a Full Time, Remote position available to candidates located Anywhere. You will focus on building high-performance systems while shaping our technical culture. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing scalable system architectures while maintaining high standards for code quality and testing.
- Mentoring mid-level engineers to foster their professional growth and technical development.
- Collaborating closely with product managers and designers to deliver innovative features that align with our business goals.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with over 8 years of professional software engineering experience who is fluent in English. You should possess deep expertise in Node.js, React, and modern JavaScript. Because our work centers on GIS and spatial data, experience in mapping or geospatial analysis is essential. You should also be comfortable working with AWS cloud-native technologies, microservices, and container orchestration. Beyond your technical skills, you should be a self-starter who is passionate about mentorship and solving complex, large-scale engineering challenges.
