How you will help us grow:
Architecture & Development: Partner with the technical lead to contribute to the design and architecture of key systems. Write, test, and review high-quality code, ensuring best practices are followed Mentorship: Guide and mentor mid-level engineers, helping them to grow and develop their technical skillsCollaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality features and ensure alignment with the company’s technical and business goalsProblem-Solving: Take ownership of complex issues within the codebase, offering solutions and improvements that impact long-term system performance and scalabilityContinuous Improvement: Advocate for improvements in code quality, testing, and engineering processes. Contribute to and help enforce high engineering standards across the teamLearning & Innovation: Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Contribute innovative ideas that improve our product and engineering processesExperience you bring:
Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Node.js and React, along with deep knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) Experience with spatial data and GIS technologies (e.g., mapping, geospatial analysis, location-based services) Proficiency in other programming languages, such as Python, is preferred Experience in designing scalable, distributed systems is essential Cloud-Native Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS), microservices, and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)Collaboration: Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment and partner with cross-functional teams Mentorship: Passionate about your craft, with the desire to share knowledge and strengthen your team Problem-Solving: Adept at troubleshooting and optimizing code for performance, scalability, and resilience What our culture brings:
