You will join Verifiable as a Staff Software Engineer Technical Lead, helping to shape the future of credentialing and provider network management for the healthcare industry. Our API-first platform is trusted by major organizations such as Humana, TriWest, Spring Health, Modern Health, Talkspace, and Grow Therapy, and we were recently recognized as the #1 fastest-growing ISV partner on the Salesforce AppExchange in 2023. With over 100 employees and $47 million in total funding, we continue to scale rapidly while remaining fully remote across the United States and internationally.
What you'll be doing
- Provide technical leadership across the API team and the broader engineering organization, guiding architecture decisions and ensuring alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Own the planning and implementation of new product features, collaborating closely with product leads to evaluate requirements and translate them into well-structured technical designs.
- Drive improvements in scalability and maintainability by evolving our architecture, reviewing pull requests, mentoring engineers, and identifying future technical challenges before they become bottlenecks.
What you'll bring
- At least 10 years of experience building and scaling web-based or SaaS products, with a strong track record of technical leadership and guiding engineering teams.
- Hands-on expertise designing and maintaining high-load RESTful or GraphQL APIs, along with proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or MS SQL, and a solid understanding of high-availability environments, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Familiarity with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines is a strong advantage, as is the ability to balance technical excellence with iterative delivery and long-term maintainability.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication skills, paired with a collaborative, humble, and self-aware approach to teamwork and mentorship.
- Proficiency in English.
What you'll get
- Remote work with full flexibility across the United States and internationally.
- Health, vision, and dental insurance plans.
- Unlimited vacation.
- Equity compensation as part of your total package.
