The role
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position based in India, and the role is remote. You will play a pivotal role in building products from the ground up, focusing on the intersection of generative AI and our market-leading customer data platform to help businesses deliver highly personalized experiences.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and launch new product functionality within a fast-paced environment that prioritizes rapid iteration and adoption.
- Provide technical leadership by guiding your team through complex architectural decisions and creating detailed design plans.
- Mentor engineers at various stages of their careers while driving strategic technical initiatives that influence our entire engineering organization.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a collaborative spirit. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience writing production-grade code in modern programming languages.
- 5 or more years of experience building UI products using frontend frameworks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS, and Node.js.
- Significant experience designing robust APIs and working with relational data models.
- A proven track record of owning services end-to-end, from initial design and requirements gathering to deployment and operational monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster alignment across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- A commitment to operational excellence, including participation in an on-call rotation that covers weekends and holidays.
