What you bring

As a Staff Software Engineer focused on our ML Platform, you will take on a senior, high-ownership role where you design and operate the foundations that power our AI infrastructure. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates anywhere, though we prioritize collaboration during EST hours. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience to ensure our platform remains reliable and scalable. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Building and managing enterprise-scale infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code to support critical AI and machine learning initiatives.
• Ensuring the health and performance of our production systems by proactively addressing technical debt and optimizing for cost and security.
• Collaborating directly with customers to translate their unique ML challenges into robust, scalable platform capabilities.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned engineer with at least ten years of experience in platform or distributed systems. You should have deep, hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production and a strong background in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is essential, alongside solid programming skills in Go or TypeScript. The ideal candidate is a proactive owner who communicates clearly, thrives when solving ambiguous problems, and possesses a customer-first mindset. You must be comfortable working autonomously, mentoring others, and translating complex technical concepts for various audiences. Fluency in English is required for this role.
