We are currently seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a pivotal role in building our next-generation File Ingestion Platform, taking ownership of critical services and empowering our organization to deliver high-impact solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision for our team while partnering with product and engineering leadership to define roadmaps and assess the feasibility of complex requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic systems to maintain peak performance and reliability across our platform.
- Mentor fellow engineers through design collaboration, code reviews, and the promotion of engineering best practices to foster a culture of growth and technical excellence.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Proven expertise in system design for ETL and ingestion platforms, including proficiency with relational or non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with modern data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Spark.
- Strong background in building secure RESTful APIs and working within cloud infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with structured data formats like JSON, XML, or CSV and experience operating within Agile development frameworks.
