What you'll be doing
- Lead strategic technical initiatives that define the direction for our infrastructure and security domains, ensuring all engineering teams have the tools to ship securely.
- Design and evolve internal platforms and paved roads that simplify complex infrastructure, allowing product teams to focus on building features while reducing their cognitive load.
- Drive multi-quarter projects focused on reliability and security hardening, including work with AWS services, MongoDB optimization, and event-driven architecture.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in platform engineering, infrastructure systems, or backend architecture. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, specifically within AWS environments.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-quarter technical initiatives in fast-paced settings.
- Proficiency with containerized deployments and database management, particularly with MongoDB.
- Strong technical skills in modern backend technologies, with experience in TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL being highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical strategy and mentor senior engineers across the organization.
- Fluency in English.
