We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Cloud Growth team on a full-time, remote basis. At Temporal, we provide an open-source programming model that simplifies code and improves application reliability, helping developers deliver features faster. In this role, you will help us scale our cloud services and influence the future of our technology as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement critical components of the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, billing, metering, and third-party marketplace integrations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, finance, and sales teams to define business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop and deploy our next-generation API gateway and service marketplace, known as Temporal Nexus, while monitoring system performance and security.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience building globally distributed cloud service platforms.
- A minimum of 6 years of professional coding experience using languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency with SQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.
- Proven ability to manage services from initial design through 24/7 production operations, ideally within a DevOps environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a desire to mentor junior team members.
What we offer
The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000 to $240,000, and you will also be eligible to participate in our equity plan.
