We are a team of 12 based in San Francisco, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join us in making every business system accessible to AI.

What you bring

As a Staff Software Engineer in our backend department, you will operate in a full-time, on-site capacity in the United States. You will be responsible for architecting core infrastructure that allows AI agents to navigate complex authentication barriers and extract data at scale. Your primary focus will involve designing distributed systems for parallel execution, establishing high technical standards for the team, and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical workflows.

• Lead the technical design of our authentication layers, data extraction engines, and transformation pipelines.
• Develop resilient agents capable of navigating web interfaces and handling dynamic content without native APIs.
• Own the end-to-end reliability and performance optimization of our infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and observability systems.

Requirements

We are looking for a senior-level engineer with 5 to 8 or more years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You should have expert proficiency in backend development, specifically with TypeScript, and a strong background in building scalable data pipelines using Postgres. A deep understanding of web security, identity management, and cloud infrastructure is essential for this role. We value candidates who are entrepreneurial, possess a strong work ethic, and communicate effectively. You must be fluent in English, and while a formal degree is not the only path, we look for individuals who have demonstrated their skills through professional experience or significant side projects. Familiarity with Docker, GitHub Actions, and REST API design is required to hit the ground running.
