The role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a pivotal role in building the tools our customers rely on every day. Whether you are helping a produce manager streamline their ordering process or enabling corporate supervisors to track store performance, your work will directly influence the efficiency of the food supply chain. You will have the chance to take ownership of complex projects in a rapidly growing environment, making this an ideal role for someone who thrives on building solutions that scale.

Core responsibilities

• Advance our mission by developing products that empower grocers to optimize their fresh food operations and minimize waste.
• Partner with our product and design teams to create intuitive, engaging user experiences for our web and mobile applications.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives by collaborating closely with data engineers and machine learning specialists to integrate advanced solutions.

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in full-stack development with a proven history of shipping high-quality applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript is required, while experience with SQL, React, GraphQL, DBT, and Python is preferred.
• Strong expertise in API development and a deep understanding of system-level architecture.
• Experience serving as a technical lead on cross-functional projects.
• A passion for solving difficult technical challenges and establishing engineering best practices.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range for this position is 163,000 USD to 182,000 USD. We are committed to flexibility and support our team through both remote and hybrid work arrangements.
