The role
We are seeking a Staff Salesforce Developer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a lead-level position for an experienced professional who will define our Salesforce architecture. You will work alongside business analysts and engineering teams to design and implement flexible, high-impact solutions that leverage modern development practices and scalable design patterns.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, from initial strategy and requirements gathering to implementation and long-term maintenance.
- Design and build a robust, API-driven integration layer that connects our Salesforce environment with mobile applications, web platforms, and external data stores.
- Establish and champion technical best practices to ensure our Salesforce architecture remains stable, secure, and capable of supporting rapid innovation.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience developing web and mobile interfaces on the Force.com platform, including deep expertise in Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning components.
- Proficiency with modern open-source libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue, along with a strong grasp of the surrounding ecosystem like HTML5, CSS, and JSON.
- A proven history of managing complex Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, and Metadata APIs.
- Technical leadership experience with the ability to provide oversight and guidance to other developers.
- Relevant certifications, including Salesforce Admin, Platform Developer I and II, and Javascript Developer I.
- Familiarity with secure development standards, specifically SAML, OAuth, and HIPAA compliance.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $190,000 USD. Beyond the base salary, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes:
