Reddit is a community of communities built on shared interests, passion, and trust. With more than 100,000 active communities and roughly 73 million daily active visitors, the platform hosts some of the most open conversations on the internet. Our Ads team is entering an exciting growth phase, and we are expanding the Creative Optimization, Planning, and Recommendations group to help advertisers plan, optimize, and scale campaigns that deliver strong results with minimal effort.
The role
We are hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead a broad portfolio of products that power creative optimization, campaign planning, and recommendation systems. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates across the United States at the manager level of experience.
Core responsibilities
- Define and champion the product vision and long-term strategy for Creative Optimization, Planning, and Recommendations, ensuring each area contributes to Reddit’s overall monetization goals.
- Own the roadmap and drive execution across multiple product surfaces, coordinating closely with engineering, data science, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver measurable business impact.
- Build and run a campaign optimization program while partnering with the Advertiser Platform team to enhance Ads Manager tools that let account managers perform advanced optimizations independently.
Skills and experience
We are looking for candidates who bring at least seven years of product management experience in a technology company, a demonstrated track record of developing and championing product strategy, and proven success shipping products that drive quantifiable business results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent cross-functional communication, and the ability to influence without direct authority are essential. Experience building enterprise or end-user products that incorporate machine learning is required, and a background in computer science, mathematics, or ad tech is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working in North American time zones and fluent in English.
Compensation and benefits
The base pay range for this role is $198,200–$297,300 USD. In addition to salary, the position is eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units and may include commission depending on the specifics of the offer. We also provide comprehensive health benefits, 401k matching, workspace support for a home office, personal professional development funds, family planning support, flexible vacation, Reddit Global Days Off, four or more months of paid parental leave, and paid volunteer time off.
How to apply
If this scope of work aligns with your experience and interests, we encourage you to apply. We review applications on a rolling basis and look forward to learning more about how you could contribute to Reddit’s next chapter of ad-product innovation.
