About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will own complex product areas and help define the future of our platform. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, high-impact experiences that support both Independent candidates and elected officials. This role is perfect for a designer who wants to apply their craft to a mission that directly impacts millions of lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process for complex product areas that bridge our campaign and constituent service tools.
• Evolve our design system and pioneer AI-powered workflows to accelerate team velocity while maintaining high standards of craft.
• Conduct deep user research with candidates and citizens to ensure our platform effectively serves the needs of a representative democracy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in product design and a passion for civic technology. Our requirements include:

• At least 6 years of product design experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a staff or principal-level individual contributor role at a consumer-focused company.
• Proven ability to lead the design of complex, multi-stakeholder products from the ground up.
• High proficiency in Figma and experience with responsive web and native mobile design.
• Technical comfort with implementing design changes directly in code using tools like Cursor or similar.
• Strong AI fluency and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance design workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex design decisions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be physically located in the United States.

Location

This position is fully remote for candidates based in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits
