About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Performance Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this senior-level role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our products, which process massive volumes of data, maintain peak performance and scalability. You will act as a key technical leader, helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect as we continue to grow rapidly.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance tests at scale to identify potential bottlenecks and uncover unusual system behaviors.
• Investigate the root causes of scalability issues and collaborate directly with our development teams to implement effective solutions.
• Build and maintain robust tools and frameworks using Node.js, TypeScript, and Docker that allow our developers to integrate performance testing into their daily workflows.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should bring a strong background in software engineering and a passion for quality. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on performance or quality testing.
• Proven, hands-on experience working with Docker.
• Extensive and deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, as you will serve as a subject matter expert for the team.
• Experience developing performance benchmarks, custom tools, and comprehensive test suites.
• A strong background in working with data-intensive applications or complex data stream processing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders in a remote environment.

Location

This position is based in Poland and operates in a remote capacity.
