What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Staff Mobile Engineer to join our team on a Full Time basis. This role is based in the United States and operates in a hybrid capacity, requiring you to be onsite in our office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will play a pivotal role in our engineering department by focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define and ship innovative new features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in mobile development with at least seven years of experience. We look for candidates who have a deep understanding of mobile architecture and a proven track record of shipping high-quality applications to the App Store. You should be proficient in SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose, and have experience with Kotlin Multiplatform. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is also welcome. You should be comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, cloud services like AWS or Firebase, and have a solid grasp of performance tuning. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as you will be working across cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.
