We are looking for a Staff ML Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. At Lakera, we are building the essential security foundation for the future of artificial intelligence. You will be instrumental in developing high-performance, real-time models that defend against sophisticated threats, helping us maintain our position at the cutting edge of the AI cybersecurity market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of advanced machine learning models that operate in real time to secure GenAI applications at scale.
- Identify critical edge cases for our detectors and drive the collection and generation of complex threat datasets to enhance model performance.
- Ensure we consistently deliver top-tier security defenses by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of our models with high velocity.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience deploying machine learning models into production environments, particularly in sectors where reliability is paramount.
- Extensive background in productionizing models within unstructured data domains, specifically NLP and vision.
- Proven success in managing the full development lifecycle of ML models, including navigating the challenges of the long tail of data distribution.
- A strong desire to take ownership and shape the future of secure AI within a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
- Proficiency in English to collaborate effectively within our global team.
