About the Role
We are searching for a Staff Lidar Test Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a lead-level role focused on our agile software testing platform. You will be instrumental in managing testing activities for our proprietary LiDAR software, specifically covering SWE.6, SYS.4, and SYS.5 requirements. You will work closely with our system architects, software engineers, and product owners to ensure our automotive hardware products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, automation, and execution of tests related to software qualification, system integration, and system qualification.
- Analyze complex system and software requirements to create functional and system-level test cases.
- Take full ownership of project verification and validation needs while performing defect analysis and test automation.
Requirements
- Between 8 and 12 years of hands-on experience in software or systems testing.
- Proven background in automotive system or software validation, particularly with sensors like LiDAR, cameras, or radar.
- Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and assessment.
- Experience with SIL and HIL validation, as well as building automated tests for diagnostics, network communication, and fault injection.
- Familiarity with automotive protocols such as Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, and LIN.
- Comfortable working within Linux or Unix environments.
- Experience using project management and documentation tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, JAMA, and Doors.
- Knowledge of measurement tools including CANoe, CANape, and Vsignalyzer.
- An ISTQB certification is preferred for this position.
Location
This position is based in India and requires an on-site presence.
