Staff Full-Stack Engineer at Safari AI

What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Staff Full-Stack Engineer to join our distributed engineering team on a full-time basis. This role is hybrid and open to candidates anywhere. You will be instrumental in shaping our technical landscape while working with technologies like React, Java, and cloud services including AWS, GCP, and Azure. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Taking primary ownership of our infrastructure, including all key frontend and backend services.
• Making critical design decisions that define the architecture of our main web applications.
• Setting the technical direction for our full-stack development while establishing best practices for system design, documentation, and team communication.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience as an individual contributor, ideally within a startup environment. We are looking for someone who is proficient in React and Java, and who has a proven track record of taking complex services from the initial concept all the way to production. You should be comfortable working with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and possess experience with big data frameworks such as Flink, Hadoop, or Spark. A strong candidate will be a proactive problem solver who is eager to engage directly with our enterprise clients to build products that have never existed before. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
