We are a science-driven healthcare analytics company experiencing rapid growth, and we are looking for Staff Full Stack Engineers to join our team in Barcelona. You will play a vital role in our mission to improve healthcare by helping us scale our platforms and refine our complex analytic applications.
Responsibilities
- Enhance our rapid-cycle, full-stack analytic applications to meet the needs of our expanding customer base.
- Design, develop, and document scalable software solutions by analyzing system flows, data usage, and user requirements.
- Lead cross-team initiatives to address technical debt and improve our overall engineering architecture.
- Make strategic decisions regarding technical investments and provide expertise on complex development challenges.
- Implement robust automated testing to ensure high code quality and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to elevate our team's collective engineering practices.
- Partner closely with product, design, and science teams to translate client needs into effective technical solutions.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- High proficiency in TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
- A deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithmic complexity.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Expertise in modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience working with big data sets.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for solving complex engineering problems alongside cross-functional teams.
