Role at a glance
We are seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level role that is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Australia. While we are based in Ultimo, Sydney, and welcome you to visit our office, you have the flexibility to choose the environment where you do your best work.
Your impact
- Develop intuitive teaching tools and engaging learning experiences that simplify lesson planning and classroom management for our users.
- Take ownership of our design system by building modular, reusable components in close collaboration with our design team.
- Champion technical excellence by managing complex frontend state, optimizing performance, and ensuring our applications meet high standards for accessibility and testing.
What you'll need
You should be an experienced engineer who understands that technical architecture has a direct impact on the lives of teachers and students. We are looking for someone who brings the following:
- Extensive experience in a senior or staff-level frontend role, preferably within a scaling B2B SaaS environment.
- Deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- A proven track record of maintaining a robust design system that serves an entire product team.
- Strong proficiency in state management and seamless API integration.
- A commitment to performance optimization and modern accessibility standards.
- Fluency in English and current Australian working rights.
