What is this role?
We are hiring a Staff Engineering Program Manager to focus on FinOps. This is a full-time, senior-level position based in the United States under our hybrid work model, where the team gathers in the office on Mondays, Thursdays, and one additional day chosen by the organizational leader.
What will you do?
- Improve the accuracy of our financial forecasts by creating more granular visibility into our cost structure and building models that predict cost changes over time.
- Decrease operating expenses by identifying opportunities to improve cloud resource utilization or adopt new technologies that offer more effective cost dynamics for our use cases.
- Improve product prioritization decisions by providing clear, actionable data on the costs of both current and potential new products and features.
What makes you a great fit?
You bring at least eight years of experience in technical program or project management and have applied SaaS financial knowledge to solve real business or technical problems. You have defined, managed, and delivered large-scale cross-functional initiatives and led teams through projects with multiple dependencies and constraints. You communicate effectively and establish credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive staff. Proficiency in English is required, and you are comfortable working across Products, Engineering, and UX teams as well as with partners in IT, Procurement, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
What's in it for you?
The base salary range for this role is $161,000 to $293,000 USD per year. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a hybrid work model that balances purposeful in-office collaboration with flexibility for the rest of the week. US employees receive an annual $1,800 experience bonus to fund activities such as attending events, traveling, or supporting local causes. Every team member is encouraged to dedicate 10 percent of their time to personal learning and development.
