Since 2018, Vendr has been on a mission to create the definitive buy button for software. We help thousands of companies secure the best prices on software while assisting sellers in finding new customers quickly. With over 150 employees across our Boston and Charleston offices, we are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a pivotal role in our Marketplace application, helping us refine the technical architecture and user experience that powers our platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of core features within our Marketplace domain to ensure efficient transaction processes and data management.
- Take full ownership of our design system, ensuring it remains accessible, consistent, and scalable as our application grows.
- Establish high-level architectural principles and coding standards while mentoring team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a React developer with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to handle large-scale projects.
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and a strong background in building responsive, accessible, and high-quality user interfaces.
- Proven track record of maintaining and evolving design systems, ideally with familiarity in modern UI libraries.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
- A proactive mindset toward problem-solving, performance optimization, and sharing technical knowledge across the team.
