Role at a glance
We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position based in the United States. We operate with a hybrid model, meaning you will join us in the office a few times a week for whiteboarding and collaborative sessions, with the flexibility to work from your preferred location the rest of the time.
Your impact
- Drive technical strategy by leading the development of our core platform infrastructure and solving complex scalability challenges.
- Design and implement resilient, high-performance systems that prioritize security, observability, and automation.
- Mentor and guide our engineering team, fostering technical growth and ensuring our architecture remains robust as we accelerate our business.
What you'll need
- Over 10 years of experience in backend software engineering, specifically with large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js or TypeScript, along with deep experience in SQL and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- A solid grasp of network protocols, database systems, and operating systems.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, define architectural roadmaps, and communicate effectively in English.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL API standards.
- A passion for mentoring engineers and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
