Role at a glance

We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our platform team. This is a full-time, senior-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will be instrumental in designing and maintaining the distributed software platform that serves as the backbone for our cloud network security products, ensuring reliability and performance even during complex, large-scale deployments.

Your impact

• Design and implement new functionality to support our evolving networking features.
• Enhance the platform by focusing on scalability, robustness, and maintainability to ensure high-quality performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align on design goals and performance characteristics for new product features.

What you'll need

• At least 6 years of professional experience in enterprise software development.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and Python.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code while learning new technologies quickly.

Perks and compensation

The base salary range for this position is $188,445 - $221,700, plus equity and additional benefits. Our comprehensive package includes:
