What you bring

We are looking for a senior Staff DevOps Security Engineer to join us full time in a remote capacity. In this role you will architect and scale multi-cloud infrastructure, lead security execution across our environments, and drive site reliability practices while integrating AI tools to reduce toil and accelerate delivery. Your work will span AWS as our primary platform and an expanding footprint in GCP to support Vertex AI workloads. You will collaborate closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to build robust MLOps pipelines and maintain high-visibility observability across critical services. This position is open to candidates located anywhere.

• Architect and provision infrastructure across AWS and GCP, with a focus on scaling AI workloads and supporting advanced data pipelines.
• Lead security implementations by translating InfoSec policies and SOC-2 requirements into infrastructure and code while championing DevSecOps practices.
• Drive SRE initiatives by defining SLOs and SLIs, managing on-call rotations, conducting blameless postmortems, and building comprehensive observability with metrics, traces, and structured logs.

Requirements

We seek candidates with at least eight years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE within fast-paced SaaS, platform, or data-heavy environments. You bring deep architectural expertise in AWS and the ability to ramp quickly on GCP, along with proven experience defining SLOs, managing error budgets, and leading incident response. Strong working knowledge of Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry is essential, as is deep expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and GitOps methodologies. You have hands-on experience supporting machine learning pipelines and deploying models to production environments such as Vertex AI or SageMaker, and you actively use modern AI tools to improve automation and platform reliability. A pragmatic mindset, excellent written and verbal communication in English at B2 level or higher, and a track record of owning outcomes across cross-functional teams complete the profile. Familiarity with AdTech, MarTech, or high-volume data pipelines is a plus.
